About the Event
Our animal neighbors go through some dynamic changes in the later Autumn. Most rodents create and insulate warm homes, many birds migrate south, a great variety of mammals and birds store fall abundance for winter eating. Some hibernate, some just grow thick coats, some start moving around less and some have active mating seasons. We will seek sign of these changes by following deer trails to find and interpret signs of the "rut" and go visit a marsh to watch for migrating birds and sign of pond-building beavers. Come dressed for conditions, ideally in quiet and earthy toned clothing, and ready to cover some diverse terrain.
Open to adults and youth ages 15 and up.
Tuition: Â $30
