About the Event

We will come together for this unique workshop of moving in various ways through the wild landscape. This is one of the best ways to really discover all the secrets and hidden realms of the landscape; by going where most do not tread. Balancing on poles and logs over small ravines, practicing leaping between landings over gaps and creeks, trotting and walking smoothly through various landscapes and cover types, and stealthy slow controlled movement will all be worked on. We will practice maneuvering, use play to get stealthy, and cover a good amount of ground working on all of this.

The other part of this workshop will be observation of direction from sky and land and reading the land for routing and efficient traveling of the larger landscape (including using trails of animals). And of course we will read the stories of the natural communities that we are shown along the way!

To register for this event, please email Nicholas at wildroots.handcrafts@gmail.com. Cost for the class is set at $65. Bring a compact lunch, waterbottle, and extra layer in a well fitted a backpack. Scholarships are available, please ask via email!
