Medium Large Etched Birch Box

This medium birch bark box is etched (design worked into dark outer layer with bone stylus) with a whimsical leaf motif. Well made with inner and outer bodies of fine birch bark, hand carved base of basswood and lid of white pine. Embellished with bands of birch bark and a carved knob, and base pegged on with birch pegs. 7 inches across, 4.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches tall. Finished with a durable and additive free linseed oil.
